IV sedation is done in-house at a flat published rate — $500 up to one hour, $800 for one to two hours, $1,000 beyond that — the same price for every patient, quoted before you sit down, not negotiated chairside.
The rest of the reason is scheduling. Dr. Thanh Huynh and Dr. Stephen Choe are both on staff, so same-day and next-day appointments are usually available even during the week, and multiple procedures can often be completed in one visit under sedation instead of spread across separate trips. If you’re already driving 15 or 20 minutes, that’s the trade-off: fewer visits, one price, two dentists instead of one.
