Your Comfort-First Dentist in Tomball — 20 Minutes on 249
If you live in Tomball — the railroad town that still calls itself the “Hometown with a Heart” — and you’ve been putting off the dentist, Aster Smiles was built for you. We’re about 20 minutes south on Hwy 249 (the Tomball Tollway), in Cypress at 20611 FM 529. Dr. Thanh Huynh, DMD, FAGD, offers IV sedation and comfort-focused care for people who haven’t been in years.
Maybe it’s been since before the kids started at Tomball ISD, or since the last German Heritage Festival you can remember down at the old Train Depot. Whether you’re coming from Old Town Tomball, off FM 2920, or out near Burroughs Park — the anxiety, the bad past experience, the “I’ll deal with it later” that turned into years — none of it gets a lecture here. Tomball families drive down 249 to Dr. Huynh because he genuinely specializes in patients who’ve been avoiding the chair, and he won’t make you feel small for it.

Dr. Huynh holds a Texas Level 3 Moderate Parenteral Sedation permit and administers IV sedation himself, in-office, with the team monitoring your heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen on hospital-grade equipment — the same approach used in oral surgery settings.
